§ 38-1. State sanitary code adopted.

  • In order to protect and promote the health and sanitation of the town, there is adopted that certain code known as the "Sanitary Code, State of Louisiana," R.S. 40:4 (Sanitary Code), prepared and promulgated by the state health officer, as amended from time to time. The provisions of such code and the rules and regulations of the state administrative code shall be considered as in addition and supplementary to this Code and other ordinances relating to health and sanitation. The violation or failure to comply with any provision of the sanitary code shall be punished as provided in section 1-11.
